Glanusk Farmhouse Open Gardens Event
We’re thrilled to announce that Mike & Lorraine Lewis are opening up their glorious gardens in aid of South Powys Mind – and we’d love for you to join us.
Taking place on the afternoon of Sunday 12th July, visitors will be welcome from 2pm (car parking field opens 1.45pm) and the gardens will stay open until 6pm, with last entry at 5pm.
A garden of delights
This is one of those gardens that feels like a special journey, a space where you just get drawn around every corner and into every nook, with more delights always waiting to be found.
Meander through the wooded area down towards the river and the beautiful arched bridge and look back up the bank at this beautiful house. Take the steps down through the garden and soak up the incredible scents and bold, colourful planting.
Tea, Coffee & Cake
And, of course, what Open Gardens would be complete without a cup of tea and a slice of cake… or maybe a scone with jam and clotted cream? Enjoyed on the terrace, listening to the river and the birds – blissful.
Plant Sale
Plus, our wonderful Green Minds group will be on hand with a pop-up plant sale, as well as all sorts of friendly advice, tips and tricks for happy growing over the summer and beyond. All the plants available have been propagated in and around Brecon, making them ideally suited for the local environment.
